Paul Kelley has been representing carriers and self-insureds in workers' compensation arena since 1996, when he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.  He has been board certified in workers' compensation law since December 31, 2004.

His approach is simple: listen, learn, counsel, plan and execute.  He listens to his client, then takes the time to analyze the issues.  He consults his client to develop the best plan of action in concert with the claims professional.  A good plan is the blueprint of success.

Our Business

Legal services are not all the same, nor should they be, not even in workers' compensation.  A BRC over three weeks of disability is typically pretty simple; a CCH over the compensability of a methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus infection can be as complex as a trial.  We provide a singular, personalized approach to handling cases, tailored to the needs of the client, not the hourly goals of the attorney.

Nor are legal services simply about "being aggressive."  It's true, you need an attorney who won't back down, but you need much more than that.  You also need an attorney who can help you maintain your business: one who can help you satisfy your policyholders, one who can help you avoid administrative pitfalls.  You need an attorney who can help you explain your decisions not only to hearing officers, judges and juries, but also to employers, claims managers and home offices.  You need an attorney who understands your legal needs.

Paul L. Kelley started his firm after representing Zurich American Insurance Company exclusively for six years.  During that time he earned the distinction of representing Zurich in some of it's most important workers' compensation cases.  He continues to do so today, but now represents a broader range of clients.
